Workforce Well-Being

In this module, learners explore the concept of psychological safety. Recent issues have lowered the morale of a local business, and the learner is tasked with seeking advice in order to provide guidance, in an effort to restore the psychological safety the business once enjoyed.

Learners will be notified when their performance will be scored and can return to the menu before proceeding. Green, yellow and red visual cues indicate the quality of their response.

Lesson description

Nia has received an urgent call from Gabriel Fabroa, the owner of Heights Lookout Hotel. Employee morale has hit an all-time low and Gabriel feels frustrated and stuck. You’ll need to investigate and remedy the situation.
Gabriel is in a foul mood and reluctance to discuss the challenges he faces regarding psychological safety in the workplace. You should establish trust and enable Gabriel to open up about his concerns surrounding the workplace culture.
Meeting with two successful Levitt Heights business owners, you discuss how to implement and sustain strategies to foster psychological safety in the workplace.
Returning to The Heights Lookout Hotel, you share the strategies and advice gathered from Mary and Fatima with Gabriel. With empathy and trust, you enable Gabriel to see a path towards a pyschologically safe workplace.
